Jonny Jiang

Jonny is an expert in design research for innovation and business transformation.

As a Research Director for intO he is passionate about delivering transformative effects for clients and their customers.  With a background in service design, his work features a combination of holistic user-experiences and competitive advantages, to shape business innovation. Academically, Jonny is an associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins for service innovation and service design. He is also a tutor at Loughborough University on design thinking, foresight and strategy. In addition, he is a fellow at the Royal Society of Arts and at the Chatham House Royal Institute of International Affairs in the UK. Because of his diverse experiences, Jonny has developed intrinsic curiosity and empathy towards different culture groups.

Jonny has a PhD from the Royal College of Art, has gained an MA qualification in business and a PhD in design. He has also received an RSA Fellow Award on a fintech solution, and a D&AD New Blood Award for a retail innovation. Jonny has lived in China and France and is based currently in the UK. He speaks English and Chinese fluently with ‘un petit peu Français’.
