Jonny Jiang

Jonny is the Business Director at intO. With a background in service design, he has developed his craft and expertise in design research for innovation and business transformation, and is passionate about delivering transformative effects for clients and their customers. His work features a combination of holistic user-experiences and competitive advantages, to shape business innovation.

Academically, Jonny is an associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins for service innovation and service design. He is also a tutor at Loughborough University on design thinking, foresight and strategy. His PhD at the Royal College of Art investigates and develops the application of service-design practice for large corporations. In addition he is a fellow at the Royal Society of Arts and at the Chatham House Royal Institute of International Affairs in the UK. Because of such diverse experiences, Jonny has developed intrinsic curiosity and empathy towards different culture groups.

Having gained an MA qualification in business and a PhD in design, Jonny has also received an RSA Fellow Award on a fintech solution, and a D&AD New Blood Award for a retail innovation. Jonny has lived in China and France and is based currently in the UK. He speaks English and Chinese fluently with ‘un petit peu français’.
