Nameera specialises in on-the-ground qualitative research about challenging social issues.

As a professional film-maker, she communicates the stories and heroes of Pakistan using her insights into environmental, educational, literacy, health and women’s issues through documentary films. All of which she plans, produces and directs herself, and have been screened in European, Asian and Middle Eastern countries. She also wants to be an advocate for women’s rights, education, environmental depletion and healthcare for citizens of rural Pakistan. 

Nameera has a BA in Graphic Design from Bilkent University, and an MA in Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design from Sabanci University. She has lived in Turkey and is currently based in Pakistan. She speaks English, French, Turkish, Urdu, Hindi and Farsi.
