Alejandra is the Regional Lead for Latin and North America at intO. She is an expert in navigating the complexity of cultures in Latin markets, and combines her deep knowledge of cultures with her design-management capabilities. She is also a disruptor and innovator in design studies at a number of universities in Colombia.

Through her creative approach, Alejandra’s practice is to empower people, to release their freedom and independence, so their own ideas bring benefit to society. She is motivated in bridging cultural boundaries and cultivating multi-cultural mind-sets among people living in a globalised world. In addition, she takes a leading role to develop new design curricula for business and design courses at BA and MA levels. Her most recent academic achievement is the creation of curricula that teach Transitional and Speculative design for Social Innovation. Through her academic and industry connections in Colombia and Latin America, Alejandra works with local brands, to help them develop their businesses.

Alejandra has gained a BA qualification in Industrial Design from the National University of Colombia in Bogotá and an MA from Hochschule Anhalt University in Germany. She has lived in Germany and is based currently in Colombia. She speaks Spanish, Cali Colombian, German and English.
