Estair Robbins

Estair is an intern at intO, specialising in research for design and innovation.

Estair studied Product and Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, where she focused on sustainable design, healthcare design, and educational toy design. Her passion for extensive research within these areas ignited her interest in design research as a discipline.

During her studies, Estair completed a year in industry at a sustainable materials consultancy, where she specialised in recommending and integrating innovative materials into architectural plans, interiors, and products. She continued to freelance with them during her final year. Estair is passionate about developing sustainable design approaches for individuals and industries and is particularly committed to designing better life experiences for children via environments that help them thrive.

Estair holds a BA in Product and Industrial Design and has won a Design Ventura Award for a university project. Originally from Singapore and with roots in India, Estair now lives in London, UK. She speaks English and Mandarin and is currently learning Bengali, Italian, Portuguese, French, and British Sign Language (BSL).
