Jess has gained valuable experience in community-led design, recently collaborating with ‘Creative Ireland’ on a project centered around waste reduction in a rural Irish town. Through user research with residents and businesses, she helped identify the town’s aspirations and facilitated workshops to brainstorm product ideas for transforming waste into valuable resources. Her work often revolves around themes of sustainability and social impact, particularly in areas such as climate change and education. Jess is fascinated by how design can foster positive interactions within communities and empower them to tackle shared environmental challenges. She has been shortlisted for the Maison /0 Green Award, which showcases the best nature-positive graduating projects across design disciplines.
Jess currently resides in the UK and speaks English, and is also learning British Sign Language (BSL).
