Macarena Alamos

Macarena specialises in qualitative research into visual arts and translation of cultural values into graphic design.

With a background in design practice and theory, Macarena holds teaching positions at universities and colleges in Chile. She is an advocate for collective growth and empathy among generations of people, and education has become her means of integrating her beliefs within her community. In addition, she travels extensively within Chile, Europe and south-east Asia to gain first hand experience of their different cultures and traditions.

Macarena has an MA in the Arts of Integrated Design from Hochschule Anhalt. She has previously lived in Germany, and is now based in Chile. She speaks Spanish, English and German.
