Maya specialises in design research, industrial design and photography.

Having lived in different parts of the world in different cities, Maya brings her multicultural expertise to intO as a design researcher. Her experiences include working as an Interdisciplinary Designer for IHCD, a Research Assistant for Pratt Social Sciences and Cultural Studies, amongst others. Maya now adopts storytelling techniques to implement cultural research into design processes.

Maya has gained a BA qualification in Architecture from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, and an MA in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. In addition, she completed a Global Innovation Design course at the Royal College of Art. She has lived in the UK, USA and Japan, and is based currently in India and Canada. She speaks English and Tamil.
