Philip specialises in research of cultures, brand development and design strategy.
Through his interdisciplinary approach, combining design, cultural investigations and strategy, Philip’s work is at the cutting-edge of creative thinking. In recognising the influences and effects of inequality, Philip is motivated to work towards bringing equality to people’s lives at local and regional grassroots levels. He founded Identity Lab GmbH + Co KG in Austria, and is an Innovation Lead at Kastner AG, a design and print specialist in Germany. In addition, he curates ‘Place and Culture’ a beautiful collection of reportages and field recordings about place-making within various cultural contexts.
Philip has a BA in Advertising & Design from the University of Applied Arts, an MA in Innovation Management from Central Saint Martins, and is researching for his PhD at the University of Applied Arts. He has lived in the UK, Germany, Norway and Ireland, and is now based in Austria. He speaks German and English.
