Joanna will join the panel “Creating a Better Digital World”, where she’ll share insights from Studio intO’s global research work – including how equitable design, cultural context and inclusive innovation must shape the next generation of tech.
With her background in industrial design and ethnography, Joanna has spent over a decade working with teams at Google, Amazon and IKEA to embed lived local experience into strategy and design. At intO, she leads a globally distributed team of researchers working across 60+ countries, translating complex real-world behaviours into strategic direction for our clients.
We’re proud to be part of this year’s WIN Unconference—an event that celebrates courageous leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the power of women to design the change we want to see.
Quantitative research promises clarity, but for global teams, it often delivers confusion. From survey fraud to cultural blind spots, traditional quant approaches are falling short. In this article, Studio intO’s Research Director, Laetitia Sfez, explores the growing crisis of confidence in quant research and offers a practical roadmap for doing it better. The piece highlights how culturally intelligent design, local context, and rigorous data integrity can turn quant from a blunt instrument into a strategic advantage.
As 2026 approaches, we’ve taken a moment, today, to gather for intO's remote Christmas party. It's been a chance to reflect upon (and celebrate!) a year of bold moves, brilliant partnerships, and breakthrough moments.
Here are just a few highlights from our orbit...
