Reflecting on a year of growth, gratitude & one spectacular gold suit ✨
As 2026 approaches, we’ve taken a moment, today, to gather for intO’s remote Christmas party (not as much fun as a party in person, but far easier to arrange in December!). It’s been a chance to reflect upon (and celebrate!) a year of bold moves, brilliant partnerships, and breakthrough moments.
Here are just a few highlights from our orbit:
🌍 13 countries, 16 cities, 16 time zones Research never sleeps. This year, we’ve worked around the planet – from São Paulo to Seattle – to help our clients build more thoughtful, globally-relevant products.
🧠 We’ve worked with 55 Local Researchers around the world & recruited a further 28 for future studies. Our brilliant local experts continue to be the heartbeat of intO. Thank you for your insight, care, and collaboration.
📊 New intO services launched: → Empathy Days → Cultural Immersions → Competitor Benchmarking All designed to bring global context and local nuance into sharper focus.
💼 New client relationships we’re proud of: Hello to Waymo, Ingka Group | IKEA, and Instacart, and thank you for trusting us with your most ambitious questions.
🏆 5 awards won (!!!): • B2B Organisation of the Year – WIN: WIN: Women in Innovation • Ethical AI Leadership – Tech Impact Awards • Best Global Research Agency – UK Enterprise Awards • Equitable AI Excellence – UK Enterprise Awards • Research Hero of the Year – MRS (for our very own Julia Jover-Cano)
Internally, it’s been a year of momentum and vision-building. We welcomed Lalo Gonzalez, Roberta Poli & Analiese Dsouza to the central team and Estair Robbins was promoted from her internship. What’s more, we kicked off our Mergers & Acquisitions journey, and began shaping our ambition to become the Agency of the Future.
Thanks to the dedication, brilliance, and care of our delivery team, led by recently promoted Head of Research, Laetitia Sfez, we’ve consistently achieved client satisfaction scores of 4.8/5 and over. That’s no small feat! And a huge credit to the people behind the work.
🎉 And yes, Joanna Brassett did wear a gold suit to collect our WIN Award in New York. Truly iconic behaviour!
To our clients, collaborators, Local Researchers, and extended global family, thank you so much. For trusting us. For building with us. And for doing work that matters.
We’re heading into 2026 with full hearts, big energy, and maybe just a touch more gold. ✨

Quantitative research promises clarity, but for global teams, it often delivers confusion. From survey fraud to cultural blind spots, traditional quant approaches are falling short. In this article, Studio intO’s Research Director, Laetitia Sfez, explores the growing crisis of confidence in quant research and offers a practical roadmap for doing it better. The piece highlights how culturally intelligent design, local context, and rigorous data integrity can turn quant from a blunt instrument into a strategic advantage.
This year, Studio intO has been recognised across the research, design and innovation sectors for the work we care about most: making the world’s technology more equitable, inclusive and contextually intelligent. From championing responsible AI to scaling ethical research in fast-moving global markets, every award we’ve received in 2025 celebrates not just our methods, but our mission.
